Happy New Year 2021

Happy new year!!

2020 was a challenge and we can only hope that 2021 will be better! Out for a 16km run and walk around the lakes and forests of Frensham just before the current restrictions - what a magnificent place - the smell of the pine trees and the beauty of the lake, so peaceful when everything else is so mad. It reminded us both of the lake at Roquebrune sur argens, where we all used to go on the inflatables and have fun. Do you remember the blob jump - we never had the courage to jump! I remember holding on for my life when we were on the canape with Jane screaming! One year we made a beautiful cabane in the forest, which you were so good at making and we finished the day with a Magnum and coke in the restaurant, completely exhausted xxxxx

2020 a été un défi et nous ne pouvons qu'espérer que 2021 sera meilleur! Voila - nous faisons du footing de 16 km et marchez autour les lacs et le forêts de Frensham juste avant les restrictions ici - quel endroit magnifique!! - l'odeur des pins et la beauté du lac, si paisible quand tout le reste du monde est si fou.Cela nous a rappelé tous les deux le lac de Roquebrune sur argens, où nous allions tous sur les gonflables et nous amusions- nibeau de stupidite 12! Tu te souviens du BLOB JUMP - nous n'avons jamais eu le courage de sauter! Je me souviens d'avoir tenu comme un fou, quand nous étions sur le canape avec Jane hurlant! Un annee, nous avons fait une tres tres belle cabane dans la forêt, que tu etait un expert à faire et nous avons terminé la journée avec un Magnum et du coca au restaurant, complètement épuisés xxxxx
